Fall/Winter 2014 Colour Trend – Burgandy
Autumn season is upon us and despite the fact that it’s summer all year round here in sunny Singapore, there’s still no reason for us to forgo Fall’s latest colour trend – burgandy.
Here are some ways to wear the colour burgandy in outfits that would still suit our climate:

Leopard prints, the colours camel and blue are great compliments to burgandy! If you think a leopard printed skirt or top could be a little too much, why not go for a pair of leopard printed heels or clutch bag? This pair of Fabio Rusconi leopard printed heels that are sold on our website are perfect for running around all day long!

If you are into skinny jeans, a burgandy pair could always be teamed up with ballet flats in a classic tan or beige. And I think these ballet flats from French Sole would suit the skinny jeans look:

Burgandy’s such a great colour, really suitable for Asian skin tones so we’re so pleased it’s a colour that has come back in trend.
Some people may say it’s such a “granny colour” but I beg to differ – there are many shades of burgandy and I think the ones with more hint of red to them are just deliciously wicked!
If you want to just wear a touch of burgandy, footwear is always the easiest and these shoes by United Nude are just the ticket!
The Lo Res Lo and Lo Res Pump are classic staples in the United Nude collection. A perfect substitution for the colour black – the deep wine colour is rich, sexy and timeless.

So have some fun with the colour burgandy! It’s the perfect shade to wear for all the Christmas parties during this festive season! Plus, if you spill any wine, it won’t show so much! *wink*
