SOLE 2 SOLE Launches Nelissa Hilman Shoes
At SOLE 2 SOLE, we’re really chuffed to be the first to launch Nelissa Hilman shoes in Singapore! The Malaysian designer is known for her cool and classic shoes with a down-to-earth aesthetic using good quality Italian leather.
From chic looking ballet flats and smoking slippers to elegant heels, we love the fact that Nelissa Hilman shoes are styled for us to wear all day and any day of the week. Totally comfortable, these shoes are made of nappa leather or printed kid leather, which only get softer the more you use them!
Trained in the art of shoe making at the prestigious Polimoda Institute of Fashion Design in Florence, Italy, Nelissa has collaborated with various fashion labels like footwear brand United Nude, Paris-based label Jonathan Liang and Swarovski for the Malaysia International Shoe Festival in March 2014.

And for us, the Nelissa Hilman shoes are finely handcrafted and it is clear that the heritage of fine shoemaking is well preserved. The lasts are comfortable, wide for the Asian foot and the inner lining made of very good quality baby goat leather. The sort you would expect from made-in-Italy shoes!
